The police have been doing everything humanly possible to end crime in the country, by bringing any one found guilty of crime behind bars.

Six suspects have been arrested by the police for the possession of dagga worth R1.7 million in Cradock, Eastern Cape.

According to a police report, The members of the Cradock Cluster Operational Command Centre Personnel were conducting a stop and search raid in National road, en route Cape Town, and they identified a Quantum minibus taxi and trailer on the N10.

The police searched the vehicle and found 557 kilograms of dagga.

The six suspects , between the ages of 18 and 42 years have been arrested, and the vehicle which was used to transport the illicit drugs was seized along side the dagga.

They will appear in the Cradock Magistrate Court soon.
