The police has arrested a man who grabbed a 29-year-old lady’s Brazilian wig from her head, when she was on her way to get a taxi on Wednesday in Johannesburg Central.
Capt. Xoli Mbele, Police spokesperson said; “The victim was on her way to catch a taxi on Wednesday when the suspect grabbed her Brazilian wig and ran away with it.”
“She screamed for help and the community came to her rescue.”
The police caught the suspect at the corner of De Villers and Harrison Streets and the wig was collected and returned to the lady.
The suspect have been arrested and would appear in the Johannesburg magistrate’d court on Friday, with charges for common robbery.
