Women from the EFF are calling for Justice over the death of Palesa Madiba a University of Johannesburg student whose skeleton was discovered in a shallow grave in Phiri, Soweto in December 2015, after she went missing in August 2013.

The women are protesting in various locations in Guateng, including the Commission for Gender Equality and the Public Protector’s office because the incident which has been in the Protea Magistrate’s court was postponed on Wednesday.

Mandisa Mashego, EFF’s provincial chairperson speaks on behalf of the women says the system is now failing women, asking police why it took them over two years to find the victims body and almost six years to catch and arrest her alleged killer.

The women asks for the law to take it cause because they feel women are not safe in the society anymore.
