A seemingly unhappy President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa has accused the United States of America USA and the European union, but didn’t call out on Robert Mugabe who held sway for more than 40 years as the president.

Surprisingly, the president left out erstwhile president Robert Mugabe from the blame, even when many believe Mugabe was partly responsible for the rot and near collapse of the country.

According to Mnangagwa who is currently on his official visit to Russia, told Sputnik on Tuesday, the sharp depreciation of Zimbabwe’s national currency is a direct result of restrictive measures imposed on the country by the European Union and the United States.

The hunger in Zimbabwe has gotten to an embarrassing height and has generated reactions from around the world.
