Ahead of this weekend Absa premiership  fixture between Orlando Pirates and Chippa United, a former Bucs winger is gearing up for the encounter.

Thabo was used as a bait to get two defenders from Chippa United in the January transfer window, a move which did not fancy but has come to terms now.

Th winger who has been in fine form has been credited with a statement that reads, “I hope my weekend opponents are not expecting a favour from me as the title race heats up”.

When Thabo Rakhale left Orlando Pirates to join Chippa United, it left many Bucs fans with raised eyebrows, questioning the club’s decision to let him go.

Rakhale’s pace and trickery will be a great test for Innocent Maela, who is expected to start at left-back for Pirates. But, of course, if the 27-year old winger is on song, it’s no debate who wins that battle on the right flank.

Sunday’s encounter will certainly prove whether it was the right choice or not.
