Popular and controversial SA Pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng who is known for showing off his flashy BMW i8 almost lost the car after it was about to be repossessed for falling to pay the bank.

According to reports, the pastor was owing ABSA bank about R60,000 which was a three months payments for the car. Absa after waiting for that period, filed a court paper to take possession of the car.

As at the time of writing this we cant confirm if Mboro was having a financial issue or he just forgot, since he paid the money upon hearing the news from the bank.

He confirmed to Sunday World that he did it deliberately since the bank was already owing him some money

“Absa owes me R2-million. I’m not broke. I know there are a lot of people who would love to hear that Mboro is broke but it is not the time,” he said.

“I refused to pay Absa and ignored their communication because I have been requesting that they pay back my money first.

“Now the money is sitting at R2-million and they do not want to pay it. I have proof of communication with the bank; they have never resolved the issue.”
