Following the resignation of President Zuma and the swearing in of Cyril Ramaphosa as the new president of South Africa, The EFF in conjunction with Cope has vowed to deal with Cyril Ramaphosa in the same way they dealt with Zuma.

The both opposition parties agreed that the new President is no different than the former one, saying he is not qualified to be South Africa’s President.

While the DA, through its leader Maimane said they will be working with Ramaphosa only if he is willing to put the interest of South Africans first. He however stated that the country does not have a Jocob Zuma problem, but that of the ANC.
