Mamelodi Sundowns coach has reportedly offered George Lebese a life line return to Kaizer Chiefs in a swap deal.
Lebese is reportedly leaving the Brazilians in the January transfer window to any club of his choice in a loan deal as agreed with both parties.
Pitso Mosimane has said that he needs a striker to assist Jeremy Brockie upfront in order to boost the striker’s energy and has identified Chiefs striker.
Mosimane feels he is not getting what he wants as he has largely relied upon the likes of Brockie, Lebohang Maboe and Gaston Sirino to do the business up front.
Downs may have limited options further forward especially with Sibusiso Vilakazi ruled out with a long-term injury to his Achilles tendon, which he ruptured on international duty with Bafana Bafana.
Speaking after the draw with Bakgaga, Mosimane told reporters: “JB [Brockie] fought hard. He played well for us to be honest.
“But he was left alone there. That’s an area we need to reinforce, an additional striker.”
Sources close to the club management can confirm that the club wants Ryan Moon in a swap deal for Lebese.
Now it remains to be seen if Chiefs would let their young striker leave in January.
