Both Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates could be set for a financial battle as they have registered interest in an R18m rated striker.

Bobby has identified Amazulu striker Emilano Tade as the ideal candidate to produce the necessary fireworks.

With Leonardo Castro not performing at the highest level Chiefs would be doing their best to attract a goal scorer to help in the CAF confederations campaign.

According to a source, Orlando Pirates have showed interest in Emiliano Tade, after the striker has been showing fine form for AmaZulu FC.

The 30-year-old Argentina-born striker joined AmaZulu from Auckland City on a two-year deal with one option to renew on July 1. He left the New Zealand club as the all-time goal scorer with 107 goals in 162 appearances.

He has scored more than three goals in since his arrival to South Africa.

Tade won an incredible 23 major trophies for the club, including three golden boots, and helped his club in a surprising FIFA Club World Cup bronze medal in 2014 by finishing third.
