A Bafana Bafana player has been released from his Premier Soccer league club due to his inability to make impact in the team.

Reports say that Cape Town City FC have release Tokelo Rantie from his contract without kicking a ball for the Citizens.
Rantie, now 28, has not played since October 2017 after walking out on his club in Turkey and forgoing a lucrative contract. Reports say the weight and the fact that he is injury prone led to City off loading.
The arrival of another former Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus closed curtains on the Bafana Bafana star.

Erasmus joins the citizens from Portuguese outfit Vitoria de Setubal after failing to get decent game time after joining them earlier this year. City made the announcement last week.
