Life is no longer the same at Mamelodi Sundowns for Jeremy Brockie.
The former SuperSport United man has found the back of the net after many games for the PSL champions which could change his decision.
He was reported to be considering his future for lack of goals according to his agent.
“If he doesn’t get game-time in the next month or so, I will be sitting down with Sundowns to discuss a way forward,” the player’s representative, Mike Makaab said at that time.
Brockie, however, recently broke his goal drought in Downs’ win over Free State Stars and has featured in the starting line-up in the Brazilians’ previous two league encounters, with indications that the New Zealand international may be finally finding his feet with the Chloorkop-based club.
“It’s been difficult since I arrived. I haven’t been featuring in the team in the last couple of months. Mentally I had to stay strong and keep myself fit so that when the opportunity comes, I had to make sure that I made the most of it,” Brockie told Sundowns’ official website earlier in November.
“Now that the first one is out of the way in a competitive game, hopefully they’ll start flowing a little bit more and I can keep my place in the starting XI so that I can help this club go into the top of the table where we belong,” he added.
