Reports reaching us has it that Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo wants out of the club without being featured.

“Khuzwayo has met with Pirates management regarding the termination of his contract the report says”.

He has recently recovered from an ankle injury sustained soon after joining the Buccaneers from rivals Kaizer Chiefs at the beginning of the season, which has delayed his official debut.

On Monday, he hinted about ending his career due to the threatening injury when he revealed that he is heeding the advice of his former goalkeeper coach to avoid a long-term injury.

He took to Twitter to seemingly clarify why he is yet to play.
Khuzwayo shared a message from Rainer Dinkelacker, his previous goalkeeper coach while at Chiefs.
“Bayern Munich rushed Manuel Neuer back on the field after the foot injury and that and almost didn’t make it to the World Cup, please be careful Brilliant. Don’t rush it, Go back to the field when (you are) 100%.”
The Bucs keeper also insisted that pushing for an early return could end his career.
To make his point, he used injuries to Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rivaldo Coetzee and SuperSport United striker Bradley Grobler as the reference when he tweeted: “Coetzee, Grobler stayed (out) almost 12 months with an ankle injury. So as much as I (want to) get to the field and enjoy like other kids, I still need to look at the longer goal. Or I could easily end my career.”
Now it remains to be seen if he wants a contract termination because of injury or for lack of game time.
