Reports on our news desk has it that Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung has confirmed the resignation of his son and the club football manger Bobby Motaung from the club.

Amakhosi faithfuls have been asking for Bobby to step down as he sees the club as a family business neglecting the fans who make up the club.

The club have been under attack from supporters which prompted the overhauling of the first team coaching crew last week.

However, according to the source, Motaung assured club supporters that Bobby would resign at the appropriate time when they get replacement who knows the family and club history and culture.

Chiefs who are yet to win a trophy in the post Stuart Baxter era confirmed former player Shaun Bartlett as an assistant to Ernst Middendorp as the club tries to bring back the glory days.

“i want to personally assure the club faithfuls that Bobby will step down the moment we get credible replacement”, Mr Zungu said.
