Recently their has been news making waves in the media saying that Kaizer chiefs are working on getting Khune replacement in the ongoing January transfer window after Khune was ruled out of season because of injury.

Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has, overtime been regarded as one of Africa’s finest shot-stoppers, and this was due to his consistent performances for both club and country. Nonetheless.

Moreover, A US-based website has now named Khune among the best in the world, Ranker, a website based in California, recently named Khune among 31 of the best shot-stoppers in the world, along with the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, David de Gea and Manuel Neuer.

However, Khune was not mentioned as the African best goalkeeper in the just concluded African Football award yesterday.

However the blazing hot goalkeeper, has been given an offer to join the English Premier Leagues side Watford Fc.

Watford Fc coach Javi Gracia is said to be monitoring Itumeleng Khune for long and has been impressed by the qualities possessed by Khune during his games at Chiefs as well as Bafana Bafana.
