The media has been informed that Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas time as Chiefs coach might be coming to an end soon.

 

Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung is known for showing patience with coaches, using Chiefs former coach Steve Komphela as example after his three-year trophyless stint with the club.

Meanwhile, a sources at the club, Solinas is under heavy pressure to avenge the Soweto Derby loss to Orlando Pirates when the teams meet again in the Telkom Knockout semi-finals at Moses Mabhida Stadium on November 24.

 

“Everyone knows the chairman always has patience with coaches,” says a source.

“However, this time around Solinas could leave before Christmas.

“The game against Pirates will determine his future at Chiefs.

“Muhsin has been identified as a potential [candidate] to replace Solinas at Chiefs.”
