The 28-year-old returned to training with Sundowns on Wednesday, as the team is preparing for the upcoming weekend’s crucial Telkom Knockout quarter-final match against Baroka FC, which is set for the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

In a statement by the National Prosecuting Authority in Gauteng, it has been confirmed that Jali is out on R1500 bail.

Moreover, the football star is not allowed to visit his marital home, as one of the conditions of his bail, as confirmed in the statement by the NPA on Tuesday.

“Andile Jali, the footballer from Mamelodi Sundowns club, appeared in Hatfield court today. He was arrested yesterday after a feud with his wife,” read the NPA’s statement in part.

“I have preferred the charges of intimidation against the accused (section 72(1) (b) after consultation with Adv. Nel and agreeing that assault will not stand,” read the statement.
