Reports from PSL media has confirmed that Soweto giants have officially signed former Bloemfontein Celtic.

Pirates have officially signed Alfred Ndengane, who has been training with the team after parting ways with Bloemfontein Celtic.

Ndengane was seen training with the Buccaneers before the Soweto derby.

Ahead of TKO quarter-final match against AmaZulu, scheduled for this coming weekend, the PSL’s communications suggest that Ndengane is officially a Buccaneer.

Included in the PSL’s communications, informing the media on the players’ yellow cards and suspensions, was Bulelani Alfred Ndengane’s name, and it has been listed under Pirates.

Ndengane played six matches for Celtic this season before he left the club. The 31-year-old defender picked up one yellow card so far this season, in the second match of the campaign for the Mangaung outfit, which was against Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium on August 08.

When contacted, Pirates did not want to comment while PSL’s media manager Luxolo September was unreachable with indications that he is out of the country.
