Katsande last featured for the Warriors at the 2017 Afcon tournament in Gabon where he was captain before announcing his retirement amid disciplinary issues with the Zimbabwe FA, will be featured again alongside his club side team mate Khama Billiatm, the both players are currently playing in Kaizer Chiefs as Midfielders

After announcing that he is ready to come out of retirement last year, Katsande continued to be ignored but he has finally been brought back into the team by coach Sunday Chidzambwa.

Also making a return is captain Knowledge Musona, who was suspended for the home tie against DR Congo earlier this month after being red-carded in the reverse fixture in Kinshasa.
