Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has placed the ball in Anthony Laffor’s court, as the January transfer window approaches.
Laffor returned to the Sundowns starting line-up in fine style over the weekend, in the side’s 4-0 victory over Al-Ahli Benghazi in the CAF Champions League. The Liberian international set up one goal and scored another as Sundowns booked their spot in the group stages yet again.
The 33-year-old is in the final year of his contract and has been linked with a move away from the club, especially because he is not playing as regularly as he would like.
The former Supersport United and Jomo Cosmos forward has been linked with a move to both Bivest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs next season. He will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with any club from January onwards.
However Chiefs are ready to set the ball rolling as they approach the player in view of giving him a mouth watering offer next week.
