Three men, believed to be in their 30s, sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious after losing control of the vehicle they were in and crashing into a wall in Elardus Park in Pretoria early this morning.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene just before 03H00, they found one patient walking around on the scene. He sustained minor injuries. Two men were found to be entrapped in the vehicle, and the fire department had to extricate them using the jaws of life. The one man was seriously injured, and the other sustained moderate injuries.

ER24, as well as two other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

It is believed that the police were in pursuit of the vehicle before the vehicle crashed into the wall.

The exact details surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics, but the police were on the scene for further investigations.
